Tokyo Disneyland

It was 5:30 in the morning, January 10, 2008. My husband and i went to Tokyo Disneyland. We arrived in the place earlier than the expected time of the opening. At the entrance, cars are lined up. I was, still can't believed I was there.

In my life, I only dream to go on a big city. From province, Cebu is the first city I visited. When I was in Cebu, I dream of going somewhere far from Cebu, and I found myself, I was in Manila already.

I never thought of going out in my country, nor travel abroad. But here I am, my foot laid on the ground, its Japan… it was my second visit actually, but this time, I could land on the Disneyland…

I had a mix emotion, because the characters were I could only see in the television, finally, I could see them personally. Whoa! I am very excited!

since it was too early, my husband and i tour around pre-entrance ground. it was winter season then, i couldn't imagine the cold soothing in my nerves though i wear five to six kinds of clothes already.

two hours before the opening, so many people around. one by one Disney characters came out and people are excited to see them including me. you cannot just took picture with them especially Mickey and Minnie Mouse, they have the most fans around. people had to lined up and patiently waiting to get pictures with them.

i could see everyone are having fun together with their friends, families. children really enjoy a lot in the different rides in Disney. me and my hubby, we took only five rides. but the most rides i like was the pirates at the caribbean. its so amazing! were able to ride space mountain, star command, the train.. so many people are lining up including small children who likes to ride space mountain,

i got nervous with the space mountain. i had a phobia in riding coaster already because of the diving coaster vanish. my husband really wanted to ride, and he could see that i am really afraid.
so along the way my legs are shaking (ha ha ha), i wanted to scape.. my husband whispered to me, dont worry i am here..

OMG! (oh my God) i really feel nervous.. when the engine starts, slowly and getting faster. its totally dark, i couldnt see anything.. all i did was screaming and screaming.. when we reach the finish line, i felt dizzy, i cant stand ha ha ha.. nakakaloka.. para akong lasing.


it was a whole day tour around Disney, so my leg really hurts.. so much.. nagsuot kasi ako ng boots. kaya ang lesson ko sa lakad na ito ay, kapag whole day ang lakaran, as much as possible, just wear light shoes or just simply rubber shoes na lang.. in the following morning, my mother in-law helped me to massage my feet, very painful talaga.. mabuti na lang at ambait ng Okaasan ko.. we had an amazing day..

Yokohama Cosmo World

It was a winter season in Japan, January 8, 2008, the day, i could say, a day to remember... what makes that day something to be remembered was.. i almost die.. hu hu hu...

Me and Sharleen are invited by my Bro. in-law (Kuya Toshi) in Yokohama Cosmo World. At the beginning he told us that there will be a challenge today. In my mind i was also asking, is it really challenging?

when we arrived in the place, right infront of my eyes, Kuya Toshi said, you will ride that one, pointing to the Cosmo Clock.

On the spot, OMG! (oh my God!...) me, ride there? no, i will die.. i told him, so, i said, i will not ride, never.. (ni hindi nga ako sumakay nyan sa Pilipinas, dito pa), i did not even ride that in the Philippines, why here?

But Sharleen says, why not.. lets try, anyway (libre naman yun..) its free, whispering to me. i got challenge actually not because its free but, the guts of this small but terrible girl (Sharleen)... so, we took the ride! We did three different rides in this amusement park; first we took Diving Coaster VANISH! i just close my eyes and shouting to the best i can. i could feel split in a second my life was vanished, terribly.. if there would be another round that time, i tell you, i could die..

Second ride name Cliff Drop. i thought the ride could be easier than the previous one. when i saw the boat, oh! another vanishing ride again? among three of us, Sharleen is the cutest as in the smallest (kasi large and medium ang kasama niya) so, our setting arrangement in the boat was according to our size.. because i am afraid i put Sharleen infront of me, he he he!

The second drop here is taken at quite high speed, and riders are really thrown up out of the seats... whoa! and hold your breath! splaaashhh..

On the 3rd ride, finally, the Cosmo Clock. since i am very nervous with two previous rides, along the way to the Cosmo clock, i really thought of walking back..

Kuya and Sharleen are very relaxed even Sharleen.. OMG! again.. this little girl has a heart problem but it seems very strong..

when we were there and took the ride, i was amazed.. whoa! very slow... i thought it will turn like the coaster did. ha ha ha! all of us will really die if it would happened.

but when the wheel turned slowly up oh oh, (nakakalula.. sobra!) i feel really dizzy..

to feel relieve while the clock going on top, Sharleen busy taking pictures down the site of Cosmo World, but me, i cannot look down, so scared..

when the rides done, we sat down on the table along side of the Diving Coaster area. when i look up at the people riding over there, they kept on screaming... i could imagine myself too, how it looks like screaming there..

somehow, i had so much fun within that day, ha ha ha! so much fun of course because my spirit gone in a second.. it was a great day actually.

you may wonder why it seems this kind of experience is really mean to me. of course because i was there.. and i am pretty sure each one of us has the same story to tell. that is why i realized after those experience that, i can do it! because i did it! its just that i limit myself at the beginning, and automatically judge my capacity. that means, there are things within me that i need to discover more. how about you, did you really know about yourself? how far you can endure for more challenges? thank you for reading...
